Terms of Use

By using TitleLess you agree to what follows. If you don't, don't use it.

What this is

TitleLess is a web browser for iPhone and iPad. It renders pages using WebKit, the engine Apple provides, and it can block requests and hide elements according to filter lists.

The web is not ours

Pages you visit belong to the people who publish them, and are subject to their own terms. TitleLess is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any site you open in it, and displaying a site is not a claim about that site.

Filter lists

The blocking rules are third-party data, maintained by people unconnected to TitleLess. They can be wrong: a rule can break a page, and a page can survive a rule. Lists you add yourself are your responsibility — a filter list can hide or unhide anything on any page you visit, so only subscribe to lists from a source you trust.

Downloads

TitleLess can save files, including video, to your device. What you are permitted to download is between you, the site you are downloading from, and the law where you are. Downloading material you do not have the right to keep is not something this app licenses you to do.

Use it lawfully

You are responsible for what you do with it, including complying with the terms of the sites you visit and with the law where you are.

No warranty

Provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from its use — including lost data, a page that failed to load, or a site that behaved differently than it would in another browser.

Open-source components

TitleLess is built on open-source software, listed with its licences under Settings → About → Licences in the app. Those licences govern those components, and nothing here limits the rights they grant you.

This website

titlelessbrowser.com is provided as is, for information about the app. The text and images on it belong to the developer; the trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.

Changes

These terms ship with the app, and the version that applies is the version in the build you are running. The copy here is kept in step with the current release, and material changes are noted in the changelog.
